"The low-slung clapboard building with a wide veranda set amid eucalyptus trees and expanses of grass looks as it must have in its prime. The inside also has some recognizable retro elements, although designer Olle Lundberg (who created the interior of the Slanted Door) has added modern touches, such as elongated clear filament pendant lights suspended from the open-beamed ceiling, and cold-rolled steel accent pieces."
