This article showcases 12 winning designs for Interior Design's competition focusing on furniture made from recycled materials. The OMM table by Lundberg Design is featured for its creative use of scrap steel pipe.
"Spotted in a waste bin in the firm's metalwork shop, steel rings of various diameters provided the catalyst for this table. At one with the aging process, the raw steel had blackened and/or rusted at its own rate before being finished with beeswax and fitted with a glass top."
