The relationship between architect, client, and builder is often diagrammed as a triangle that is missing one side--the link between the architect and builder is usually not well defined. At Lundberg Design, the collective construction experience of the people here coupled with a fabrication shop for metal and wood creates a unique environment in which architects build, not just draw. This intimate understanding of materials and the tools used to shape them leads to designs that are simple and elegant, utilizing materials to their fullest potential. By applying the knowledge of materials and fabrication to design, and even building components of most projects in our shop, Lundberg Design is able to bridge the gap between architect and builder.
