Fabrication work often leaves our shop inundated with leftover materials. This was the case when we came up with the idea for the OMM table. Two-inch long pieces of leftover steel pipe (of varying diameters) are arranged and fuse-welded together inside a three-foot diameter frame. Three longer pieces act as legs and are capped at the top. The composition is always different, and we are able to experiment with surface materials. Iterations have included simple glass plates, as well as resin cast over the crosscut pipe surface.
